There are two ways to mount the butterfly to the filgree one is to glue it on or the other is to secure it with wire. If you are gluing your can hide the hole by gluing rhinestones on top or you can work with the holes to add some decorative beads.
OPTION ONE – Gluing
*Take 6cm of either 24ga or 26ga wire and thread one 4x3mm crystal rondelle bead and sit it in the middle of the wire and molding the wire around it. Now thread on 8mm daisy spacer thread a length of wire through each button hole on the butterfly** Apply a tab of glue on the back of the butterfly and thread the wire through the filigree. Allow the glue to dry. Finish the wire by curling flat on the back.
OPTION TWO – Securing with wire
Repeat from * to ** from option one. Now thread the back of the filigree. You are going to work with the holes in the filigree to secure the button. Twist the wire and place on opposite sides of the filigree. Making sure the wire is flat work secure the ends of around one of the outside stems of the filigree. Use the pictures as a guide.

The earthy colour of the agate with the stripes is really stunning. Agate is a good balancing stablising stone.
