Don’t you just love it when you start out making one thing and then end up with something completely different. This necklace believe or not started out as a pair of earrings then it just morphed into something else. I have been loving all the beaded rings that keep popping up on my Pinterest feed. So tonight I decided to try to make one. I used size 8 seed beads and 26ga wire on a 37.5mm ring. Making the ring was very relaxing and it did take over an hour to bead. I was stuck for a while what to do with the ring – I decided against making earring as I wasn’t happy how I finished the wire off. In my stash was a cast metal lace connector and I paired it with a lucite flower, attached it by wrapping a head pin around the ring then glued a rhinestone cabochon on top of the head of the pin to cover it.
