Technique

STEP 1 Create the following beaded-connectors:
A: Four oval beaded-connectors (medium eye pin): One crystal oval bead
B: Eight rondelle beaded-connectors (small eye pin) : One 8x10mm crystal rondelle bead

NOTE: Beaded-connectors are created by threading the bead or sequence of beads on an eye pin, then trimming the eye pin 1cm from the last bead and forming a loop

STEP 2 Take eleven head pins, five 4x6mm crystal rondelle beads, five 6x8mm crystal rondelle beads and one 8x10mm crystal rondelle bead. Place one bead on each head pin. Create beaded-dangles by trimming the head pin 1cm from the bead and using your round nose pliers to create a loop.

STEP 3 MIDDLE SECTION
Take one 50mm head pin and thread one oval crystal bead. Finish the head pin with a wrapped loop but before starting the wrap thread the loop in one oval brass connector. Make up the front of the necklace by now taking one 10mm jump ring and threading the previous oval brass connector, the following beaded-dangles from step 2: one 4x6mm rondelle beaded-dangle, one 6x8mm rondelle beaded-dangle & one 8x10mm rondelle beaded-dangle and one new oval brass connector.

STEP 4 LEFT STRAP
Make up the left necklace strap by taking one 10mm jump ring and threading one oval brass connector, one 4x6mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2), one 6x8mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2) and one oval brass connector. *Using 6mm jump rings join the following beaded connectors: one rondelle beaded-connector (step 1B), one oval beaded-connectors (step 1A), one rondelle beaded-connector & one oval brass connector**. Take one new 10mm jump ring and thread one 4x6mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2), one 6x8mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2) and one oval brass connector. Repeat from * to **. Using 10mm jump rings join two more oval brass rings and finish by taking one 6mm jump ring and adding the clasp.

STEP 5 RIGHT STRAP
Make up the right necklace strap by using 6mm jump ring to join up the following beaded connectors *one 4x6mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2), one 6x8mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2) and one oval brass connector**. Take one new 10mm jump ring and thread one 4x6mm rondelle beaded-dangle (step 2), one 6x8mm beaded-dangle (step 2) and one oval brass connector. Repeat from * to ** using a 6mm jump ring to join the combination to the beaded-chain. Take one new 10mm jump ring and thread one 4x6mm rondelle beaded-dangle, one 6x8mm rondelle beaded-dangle and one oval brass connector. Using 10mm jump rings join three more oval brass rings and finish with the last 10mm jump ring.

STEP 6 Join the two necklace straps to the middle section with 6mm jump rings.
