Technique

1 Create the following beaded-connectors using the medium eye pins:
A Twelve long beaded-connectors: One round tie dyed synthetic turquoise bead, one smooth spacer bead & one round tie dyed synthetic turquoise bead

B Two Kashmiri beaded-connectors: One white 14mm Kashmiri bead

Create the following beaded-connectors using the small eye pins:
C Fourteen small beaded-connectors: One 6x8mm opal sky blue 6x8mm rondelle bead

NOTE: Beaded-connectors are created by threading the bead or sequence of beads on an eye pin and finishing the eye pin with a loop.

2 Create one beaded necklace strap by connecting the beaded connectors from step 1 in the following order:
[One 1A twelve long beaded-connectors, one 1C small beaded-connector] x 3, one 1B Kashmiri beaded-connector, one 1C small beaded-connector, [one 1A twelve long beaded-connectors, one 1C small beaded-connector] x 3 & one clasp

Note Brackets [ ] are also used to enclose a sequence of beaded-connectors that are to be repeated a specified number of times

3 Create the second necklace strap by repeating step 2 but instead of the clasp add three twisted rings. Take one head pin and thread one dark blue 4x6mm rondelle bead. Finish the head pin with a wrapped loop* and using one 6mm jump ring connect to the chain.

*You can also use a plain loop instead of a wrapped loop

4 Take one head pin and thread one opaque dark blue 4x6mm rondelle bead & one sky blue 4x6mm rondelle bead. Create a beaded-dangle by finishing the head pin with a wrapped loop. Take one 6mm jump ring and attach the newly created beaded-dangle to centre bottom of the pendant use the picture step 4 dangle A as a placement guide.

Take two opaque blue turquoise 4x6mm rondelle beads and two head pins. Place a bead on each head pin. Create a beaded-dangle by finishing the head pin with a wrapped loop. Use 6mm jump rings to attach the beaded-dangles to the bottom of the pendant using the picture Step 4 dangle B as a placement guide.

Finish by taking two opaque dark blue 4x6mm rondelle beads & two head pins. Place a bead on each head pin and finish with a wrapped loop. Use 6mm jump rings to attach the beaded-dangles to the bottom of the pendant on the outer edge using the picture Step 4 dangle C as a placement guide.

5 Finish the necklace by taking two 6mm jump rings and using one jump ring per necklace strap attach the necklace straps to the top ring of the pendant.

6 To make up the earrings take one head pin and thread one opaque dark blue, one opal sky blue rondelle & one opaque blue turquoise rondelle.

Start to make a wrapped loop but before closing thread the bottom loop of the drop pendant.

Now take one ear hook and gently undo the bottom loop and attach to the top loop of the drop pendant before closing securely.

Tip When undoing the bottom loop of the earring hold the ball to stop it from slipping (picture 6D)
