Technique

MAKING UP THE NECKLACE
1 Take twenty-four eye pins and twenty-four 8mm round Amethyst beads. Place one bead on each eye pin and create beaded-connectors by trimming each eye pin 1cm from the bead and using your round nose pliers create a loop.

2 Take twenty-six 4mm Rhodonite, two 6mm Rhodonite and twenty-eight head pins with ball. Place one bead on each head pin and create beaded-dangles by trimming each head pin 1cm from the bead and using your round nose pliers create a loop. Take the beaded-dangles using 6mm beads and place them aside to use when making up the centre pendant.

3 Start to create a beaded-chain by taking one 6mm jump ring and threading one amethyst beaded-connector from step 1, one 4mm beaded-dangle from step 2 and one more beaded-connector from step 1 (Pic. 3A). *Now take one more jump ring and thread the open end of one of the previous beaded-connectors connector to the chain, one new 4mm beaded-dangle from step 2 and one new beaded-connector from step 1 (Pic. 3B)** Repeat from * to ** nine times your beaded-chain should measure 12 beaded dangles in total. Finish by attaching one 6mm jump ring to one open end of the beaded-chain and on the other side using a 6mm jump ring attach the medium clasp (Pic. 3C).

Repeat this step for the second necklace strap but substitute the clasp with a 14mm ring.

4 Take one head pin and thread one 6mm round Amethyst bead. Start to make a wrapped loop but before closing the wrap attach to the bottom of the lotus pendant. Take one 8mm jump ring and attach to the top of the pendant. Take one 10mm jump ring and thread the 8mm jump ring attach to the lotus clasp. Now on each side of the 8mm jump ring thread one 6mm Rhodonite beaded-dangle (step 2), two 4mm Rhodonite beaded-dangles and the jump ring attached to the end of the beaded-strap from step 3.

MAKING UP THE BRACELET

1 Take nine eye pins and nine 8mm round Amethyst beads. Place one bead on each eye pin and create beaded-connectors by trimming each eye pin 1cm from the bead and using your round nose pliers create a loop.

2 Create the following beaded-dangles using the head pins with ball:
A: Eighteen small Rhodonite beaded-dangles: One 4mm round Rhodonite bead
B: Nine medium Rhodonite beaded-dangles: One 6mm round Rhodonite bead
C: Nine crystal beaded-dangles: One 4x6mm crystal Imperial rondelle bead

Beaded-dangles are created by threading the bead or sequence of beads on an head pin, then trimming the head pin 1cm from the last bead and forming a loop

3 Start to make up the bracelet base by taking one 6mm jump ring and threading one amethyst beaded-connector from step 1, the following from step 2 [two 2A small Rhodonite beaded-dangles, one 2B medium Rhodonite beaded-dangles & and one 2C crystal beaded-dangle] and one more beaded-connector from step 1. * Now take one more jump ring and thread the open end of one of the previous beaded-connectors connector one the bracelet base and the following from step 2 [two 2A small Rhodonite beaded-dangles, one 2B medium Rhodonite beaded-dangles & and one 2C crystal beaded-dangle] and one more beaded-connector from step 1.** Repeat from * to ** five more times.

4 Now take one 6mm jump ring and thread the last beaded-connector on the bracelet and the following from step 2 [two 2A small Rhodonite beaded-dangles, one 2B medium Rhodonite beaded-dangles & and one 2C crystal beaded-dangle] and before closing the jump ring attach to one side of the lotus connector. Now take one more 6mm jump ring and thread the other side of the lotus connector and the following from step 2 [two 2A small Rhodonite beaded-dangles, one 2B medium Rhodonite beaded-dangles & and one 2C crystal beaded-dangle] and one more beaded-connector from step 1.

5 Take one new 6mm jump ring and attach one 8mm twisted close ring to the other side of the last beaded-connector from step 4. Now take one more 6mm jump ring and attach the previous twisted ring and one new twisted ring. Take one head pin with ball and thread one 4mm Rhodonite bead. Trim 1cm from the bead and start to form a loop. Before closing the loop attach to the last twisted ring. You also have the option to use a wrapped loop. Take one 6mm jump ring and attach the large clasp to the other side of the bracelet.

Note in step 3 & 4 the sequence of beads in the bracelet [ .. ] are the same. Try to place the beaded dangles in the same order as the photo with the backs of the loops all in the same directions.
