Technique

Before starting divide the wire into three 8cm sections

STARFISH BAG CHARM
1. Take 8cm of 22ga wire and on the end of the wire and measure a 2cm tail and then bend it at a 90 degree-angle. Create a wrapped loop by taking your round-nose pliers and create a loop and then close the loop by wrapping the end of the wire around the main section of wire. Now thread on the wire one 3mm spacer bead, one daisy spacer, one 10mm round Aventurine bead, one daisy spacer and one 3mm spacer bead. Finish with a wrapped loop to create a beaded-connector.

Make the base of the bag charm by taking one 6mm jump ring and attaching the beaded-connector to the bottom link of the chain attached to the lobster swivel clasp. Now Take one more 6mm jump ring and attach the starfish pendant to the other side of the beaded-connector.

2. Create a wrapped loop which attaches directly to the chain for a secure & durable finish (use this technique to attach the other beaded dangles in step 3 to 6)

A. Take one of your head pin and thread one bead cap and one 10mm round Aventurine bead. Place the tip of your round nose pliers on top of the bead Now bend your head pin at a 90 degree angle. Now take your round-nose pliers and place it on the top of the angle (not a the tip this time, a little bit inwards to give your loop a nice size) and starting wrapping the wire around the nose of the pliers) This would have created half the loop. To create the other half of the loop change the position of the pliers (picture 2A).
B. Once you are happy with the shape of the loop then you thread the first link of the chain, sitting on the left (picture 2B).

C. Finish the wrap loop by taking the tip of your round-nose pliers and hold the loop together. Take your flat-nose pliers and take the end of the wire and start wrapping it around the wire on the bottom of the loop. Starting at the top working to the bottom. Once you have reached the bottom trim the wire and finish neat (picture 2C).

3. Take one head pin and thread one daisy spacer and two sea green 8x6mm rondelle beads. Create a wrapped loop which attaches to the first link of the chain, sitting on the right.

4. Take one head pin and thread three jade 4x6mm rondelle beads. Create a wrapped loop which attaches to the second link of the chain, sitting on the left.

5. Take one head pin and thread two 4x6mm off white 4x6mm rondelle beads. Create a wrapped loop which attaches to the second link of the chain, sitting on the right. On the same link above the beaded-dangle take one 6mm jump ring and attach one sea horse charm.

6. Take one head pin and thread one daisy spacer and two sea green 8x6mm rondelle beads. Create a wrapped loop which attaches to the third link of the chain, sitting on the left.

7. Take one head pin and one bead cap and one 10mm round Aventurine bead. Create a wrapped loop which attaches to the third link of the chain, sitting on the right.

8. Take one head pin and thread two 4x6mm off white 4x6mm rondelle beads. Create a wrapped loop which attaches to the fourth link of the chain, sitting on the left. On the same link above the beaded-dangle take one 6mm jump ring and attach one turtle charm.
