MAKING UP THE PENDANT
1. Take one metre of wire and bend a 3cm tail at a 90 degree angle.
2. Place the top left edge of the pendant in the fold of the wire.
3. Now twist the tail section of wire around the rim of the pedant two or three times to secure the wire. Use your pliers to finish the end of the wire flushed to the pendant so the end of the wire will not stick out.
4. Thread one 3mm bead on the wire and sit it on the edge of the pendant.
5. Continue to wrap the wire around the edge of the pendant two more times to secure the bead.
6 Repeat step 5 until the edge of the pendant is decorated with beads.
7 Finish by wrapping the wire around the edge of the pendant a three or four times. Trim the wire and make sure the wire is finished flushed to the edge.
8 Take one head pin and thread the large oval bead. Bend the head pin at a 90 degree angle at the base of the bead. Sit the bend section on the edge of the pendant (using picture as a guide).
9 Now take the end of the head pin and wrap it around the inner edge of the pendant, finishing flushed.
MAKING UP THE NECKLACE
1 Create the following beaded-connectors using small eye pins:
A: Ten crystal beaded-connectors : One 6x8mm crystal rondelle bead
B: Six single beaded-connectors: One 8mm turquoise bead
Create the following beaded-connectors using small eye pins:
C: Eight double beaded-connectors: Two 8mm turquoise bead
Beaded-connectors are created by threading the bead or sequence of beads on an eye pin, then trimming the eye pin 1cm from the last bead and forming a loop
2 Create one the necklace straps by taking 6mm jump rings and joining the beaded-connectors from step 1 in the following order: Five 1A crystal beaded-connector, [one 1C double beaded-connector, one !B single beaded-connector] x 3 and one 1C double beaded-connector.
Repeat this step for the second necklace strap
Note Brackets [ ] are also used to enclose a sequence of beaded-connectors that are to be repeated a specified number of times.
3 Take one 6mm jump ring and thread the top loop of the focal pendant and one 9mm twisted ring. Now take one 6mm jump ring and attach the end of one necklace strap to the 9mm twisted ring. Take one more 6mm jump ring and attach the second necklace strap to the same 9mm twisted ring.
4 Create a chain by using two 6mm jump ring to join three 9mm twisted rings. Now take one head pin and thread one 6mm turquoise bead. Take the head pin and start to create a wrapped loop but before closing the loop attach to the end of newly created chain. Take one 6mm jump ring and attach the open end of the newly created chain one end of one of the necklace straps. Using a 6mm jump ring attach one clasp to the open end of the other necklace strap.
